You are definitely not able to post every single thing.For example,u posted about iro start,which is not rly unique,but the way they pwn later IS.

For you its old and not unique. Just sharing knowledge about the game. 80% of the players dont even know such starts. Seriously !!! or maybe more. All are not pro like u xD

Well I have done the nubians start many times and mostly I manage to age up before 4.00 and once 3.30(with sci2) You can easily get 600+ ruins with that. Remember that game with me(nubians) and dante(Persians) vs you(Romans) and Kanishka(Mayans) ?

You were lucky then,i did it couple times and was not so effective...
But its fun

Noobs ... A real pro doesnt need tips from anyone

Totally agree! It could be meant for noobs only (although I'm sure even pros or "pros" don't know all the hints). I think we shouldn't forget that we have a job to train noobs as well besides making tournaments for funsies lol. As for me I think it would be cool if all of us, better players, post some hint every once in a while. For example:
In nomad, when the game starts double-press . (dot) to select all villagers ... not so much of a tip probably but it's just that I get nauseous when I see a noob's villie just standing for a minute after the game has already started

The moment u capture enemy city and his army gone, select all army and change stance to raze.. Shift + K

so its fast to kill all villies and scholars.... change back to agg or def later

Learn to use hotkeys. Start by using Tab key to cycle between buildings that have available technologies and upgrades to research. Learning to how to quickly build buildings can also be a big advantage (Sybex official strategies & secrets). ............... B + C (build a city) B + F (build a farm) B + W (build a woodcamp)

Kick ass and take names, thats the general rule of thumb


Whoever can Raid and Scout most effectively will have the enormous upper hand in std. The starts for Iro and Nubs are all well and good, and the tips on the blog spot are all very informative, but if you cant raid or scout like a boss, they wont do u much good at the end

I love the iro and bantu raid and boom style, I saw dave doing this for the first time I have been trying this, It rocks!
