ok few things:

Ancient Rushing is the biggest noobness ever + he was chinese , so even a bit better player than him would've easily defended your rush which would made you really slow.

the second woodcutter you made near white was noobness too. there was 5 villagers woodcutter near your city you shoulda used it instead. Always try to keep your gatherers near your base.

You didn't build university till very late. Remember university and knowledge are one the most important part of the game. The way you people played ,a bit experienced player could've easily defended 2 of you.

Kanishka for tips really helpfull and yes i have forgot to build university anyway we are not pros like u guys but something i must say ancient rush is noobishness its correct but i can give u example of pro players who do that without any hesitation CRO LORD TEICH IS ONE OF THEM..early rush is not desired but in close combat(two opponent very near)it has to be done coz if u dont rush ur opponent may rush and in this matter i have lots of experience to be rushed

If your being rushed most of the time then your playing in the wrong games or with the wrong players. It's easy to counter a rush if you scout your opponents well. And for you rushing, it's like saying if someone else jumps off a bridge you'll do it too. Don't get noob habits. If a rush fails you lose, if you raid your opponent your better off.

True, Rushing shows weakness. It also shoes that they cant play fair and need "bumpers" to win (if anyone gets the FOG bumper reference, kudos)

BUT!!!! If you do get rushed, here are some tips

1. DONT GARRISON ALL YOUR CIVIES
If your not Chinese, you only need to garrison 2 civies for arrows, or 6 for more arrows. 5 civies garrisoned does the same damage as 2 civies, so only garrison the amount you need, since you need to keep collecting recs for a defense
2. Build your barracks IMMEDIATELY
as in, get all your non-garrisoned civies to build a barracks quickly, you need this ASAP
3. Archers Archers Archers
Most likely, hell be attacking with HI, Archers on HI will devasate him


He might have an LI with him to counter. Use the city to attack the slinger if at all possible.


The only thing the rusher is looking for is the Cap Plunder. If you dont let him get it, hes fucked. If you let him get it but u stop the rush... well, hes gonna be at an advantage, but not a HUGE one.

Other than that... its pretty much a gamble for a rush, a noob one at that

Well summarised pimp,one more tip is box the enemy LIs or archers with your villagers so you can fire with your archers at enemy his.And also repair city with your villagers so it gets reduced slower.

Also, type in loud obscenities to ur opponent, so if he fails, hell come out an asshole, and if he wins, hell come put a douchebag. Either way, you won the PR war
